Respite Care
Respite care provides a primary carer – often a family member or friend, with short-term temporary relief, giving them a chance to care for themselves.
Many primary carers take pride in caring for a loved one and are happy to provide the support required to enable that individual to remain living within the comfort and familiarity of their own home. However, without support, providing care alone on a full-time basis can be overwhelming.
At Dynasty Care Services, we work with primary carers to deliver a service tailored to the needs of everyone involved. We take time to learn your routine, likes and dislikes, wishes and needs before planning a programme of care visits – from a couple of hours a week, to weeks at a time, to give those providing care a well-deserved break.
Respite care has numerous advantages; providing the primary carer with some well-deserved time off, as well as giving the individual being cared for a chance to chat with a new friendly face.
